Well I just wanted to show you guys the finished product. I'm going to put a few layers of matte clear on it later. Just wanted to get it together so I can go riding tomorrow. I also think im gonna do a few skull decals or maybe airbrushed into it.

Looks great! can't go wrong with flat black.
I had my bike like that for a while until my dad (and carpy) convinced me to paint glossy black (with checkers).

Looks sweet. You can't go wrong with black.

I just finished painting my Seca 550 flat black with a satin clear coat on it. I was going to leave it flat, but my 11 year-old son suggested the satin clear. He was right, the satin makes the finish look like a stealth fighter.

Hey Jim did it make it look glossy? I found a matte clear, but it says it's mainly for craft use, but it also says for all painted surfaces. I'm thinking that wouldn't be the best. I did see the satin clear in the krylon brand. But thought it would be too shiny.

I don't have any pixs yet. I'll try to get some this weekend.

I used the Krylon satin clear that you mentioned. It does make the bike shinier that straight flat, but no where near a gloss finish.

I'll take pictures of it next to my other bike which is gloss black to give you a comparison.

I like the look of your bike looks good. I'm not sure if I am going to clear mine or not, I kinda wanna keep the flat look, so I guess I'll just be careful when I fill her up.

Well I just air brushed the punisher skull on the top of the tank. I think it looks ok, but I may paint over it. Not sure though
