Hi everybody, pretty new here, I finally sourced myself a new to me used tank. My old tank was rusted beyond repair. I freaked out when I got the tank. I knew it was red, but didn't realize it would be such a close match to my old tank, covers and trim that I had painted red a few years ago. I've bought my bike new in 1984. It had 7 miles on it. It now has 9,364 miles on it. What is more amazing that it cranked up on the first try after more than a year of sitting. I did run all the gas out before leaving it to sit, when my tank had started leaking. It's running great!! I've always kept it garaged. I have quite a bit of polishing to do, but I'm gonna shine the old gal up!! Here's a pic!

it's really nice to see such old bikes have original owners.

but it's sad to see such an old bike with low miles, get out and rider 'er buddy!

i've done 1000 miles in the last month point five!!!!
