I was wondering if there is any special tools required and the correct way to check a/o adjust the fuel mixture on my bike ('81 Seca 750). I understand they are factory preset and will be very careful however the carbs are dumping way too much fuel. The carbs are getting close for a carb cleaning and maybe thats the whole problem; just wanted to investigate the setting before taking that route... Thanks!

hi, you get a better response if you post in xj chat.
pilot screws should be 2.5 - 3 turns out from bottom, thats where to start.
clean the carbs first, then bench sync, then colour tune, then vaccum sync.
    happy wrenching.
