Please advice. Is YICS system are In 650 Maxim?

    I don't know the motor i'had is XJ 650 maxim are their YICS system

    For all i know YICS is about the intake port that make wind is look like vergo into combustion chamber am i wrong? Please explain me about YICS system

    My xj 750 is YICS but i can't see the intake port from outside May i remove my carbs before?

    Lower 48 in general. Otherwise Central Mitten.
    The 80-81 XJ650, and 82 XJ650RJ were NON-YICS.
    All other XJ's used YICS
