Having been here a couple of months now I have noticed that no one really posts pics of themselves so I thought it could be a good idea to throw up a "Lets get to know each other better" thread.

Don't be shy, throw up a pic and tell us a bit about yourself

This is a pic of me an my boy taken last week by my partner. He loves bikes, she doesn't, so it's pretty rare to see him on one of my bikes.

Tim took those two on 299 a few years ago, and John took this one last summer, with Mount Lassen in the background-

Max, on the red ST1100, came over from England just to ride in Northern California, and will be back again for more at the end of May.

Hey Floogle, the Oregon coast is awesome. We vacationed out there last fall and drove down the coast, it's really beautiful, especially for an Ohioan. Also amazing was the 30 degree temp drop from Portland to Lincoln City.

We love the coast and go there with the kids whenever we get a chance. 8)

I'm hoping to do the whole US 101 trip one of these days either alone on my bike or with the family in a motorhome...sampling all the microbrews along the way, of course.

thanks for the help with my pics Mr. Alive Sir! What was I doing wrong? I hope my son gets as excited about motorcycles as yours does. It will be something to share together. At age 17, My daughter used to love to ride with me, but has since then grown out of it. And thats fine,as long as she doent grow tired of meany time soon!

No worries Rob... Not sure but I went to your pics on Imageshack, right clicked, went to properties and copied that link then added it with the image tags and up they went

Yea Jake is a full blooded Bull Terrier. He's a great dog, gets on well with the boy (why I'll never know) and only ever barks if someone strange enters the property. He's really a big p**** which is surprising considering my partner got him from the pound and he'd been badly abused. I won't go in to details as they are pretty bad, but these days he's a gentle giant.

Easy.. You post it as an "Insert Image" rather than an attachment, but to do this you need to have uploaded it to another webite and use the link to it.

Here is one of me, I am the taller guy on the left that is freezing, and the guy on the right is my buddy Joe. We never would have thought that riding through Nebraska one day in 101 degree weather we would be freezing in 35 degree weather just two days later on our way through Yellowstone. Ahhh memories (was the trip really only last summer? doesn’t feel that way now). The second picture is of me in front of the local Yamaha dealer, is the start of the trip. And finally there is another picture of me in Yellowstone with Dan, a guy that we met at the first stop in the park, he was riding west from Wisconsin.

Ah - ok - a new one for the web - me fishing SE of Halifax... we caught a lot of mackerel that day.

This was a great Idea to post pics of our selves and families, even pets! Its nice to be able to put a face to a name or screen name even.

 

No XJ, but this is me and my girlfriend. (everyone should have a twenty-one year old girlfriend that looks as good)

 

thats the only bad thing about a 21 yr old like that, they can be difficult to hang on to. Mind if I borrow her when your done! LoL!
