I am customizing my 1982 xj 650 and i would like to put a push button starter on it to replace the starter button on the handlebars. My hopes are to eliminate as much stuff as possible off the bars and streamline my bike.So the question is what type of button should i use and where can i find one, seems to be alot on ebay that fit harleys only.

any and all help is appreciated

the wires could be different (1 or 2) but most likely it's that harleys have 1 inch bars ours are 7/8

Get a push button switch from radio shack & mount it in your headlight bucket.
