Looking into getting the Mac 4-2 chrome system for my 85 Maxim. I know a lot of you guys use this exhaust. Is rejetting neccessary or is this system a direct bolt on and ride like their web site implies?

I've got a MAC 4-1 on mine, so slightly different but as a rule if you're just changing the exhaust, then no - rejetting is not needed.

If you're also changing to a "performance" air filter - then very likely you'll need to re-jet. (this is what I did, and I did need to do jets)

If you're also changing to "pod" style filters, you will definately need to re-jet.
