really dumb question

    what size is the carbs on the 700 maxim.. I cant remember... are they 50mm or 60mm...

    I am going to replace them with a K&N induction kit and need the outside diameter... I left the shop and wont be back till the end of the week but I need to order the cones... how stupid do I feel now..

    anyone else... I will find out tomorrow if not.. but I wanted to order it today if I could since I have alot of time..

    I am sure its not 33mm... that might be the inside diameter.. but I need the outter one so I can buy the K&N..

    thanks for that.. I knew it wasnt anywhere near 33.. I remember when we used the micrometer it showed 49.942 or something... but wasnt sure if it said 50 or 60.. but thank you.. I now know which K&N cones I need to buy....
