So I have had a slow leak of oil out of the rear end. Time to fix it.

Last season I noticed oil had worked its way down the wheel and onto the tire, tracing back it went into the drum, I pulled the wheel and cleaned everything up and reassembled. It returned within about a week.

On disassembly today I found the drum, shoes, axle and everything else soaked with oil. I am thinking that it is "Oil Seal" #6 since the oil seems to originate from in the axle hole.

P.s. I am ordering new brake shoes with the rest of what I need from Len so no need to worry about de-lamination etc...

    Re: Rear ens leaking oil.

Lol, delamination would seem relatively 50/50 percent safe compared to that, wow! Can you imagine if you had rode it? Would it have locked the back wheel, or just not stopped? :)
