Hey guys, I have posted a few times about seats for and xj 550 maxim and think I have come up with a decent idea but think losing the back fender might make it go a little easier. Just kinda want some input on whether anyone has used one on one of these bikes and if so which one would the recommend Planning to replace the stock raised seat (couch) with a flat seat. Go ahead and raise hell but yes I will probably end up having to cut the seat box bracket. But trying to stay away from cutting the main tubing. Thanks! any input is appreciated.

why do you think you have to cut anything to go with a flat seat?
