I'd like to fit a set of rear set pegs on my bike [81 XJ650 stock frame] and don't know if it can be done or how mutch work on the frame I need to do. I can get a set of stock foot peg off a Ducati 998 for 75$. Has any one tried this befor and how or should I try a diferant type of peg.

I've said it before and I'll say it again -- anythings possible with enough modification and/or money.

Changing the position of the controls is going to be difficult at best, a nightmare at worst, but is entirely possible.

Now, if you just need a set of replacement footpegs - I'm sure you can modify pretty much anything to fit the stock mountings....

There are a few folks on the forum who have posted pics of their forward set pegs (going for that chopper look) that they built themselves. Anything is possible, hit the search function and look at the galleries.

I whant to change the controles a don't think the shifter will be a problem as I can use the tray likage of a xj750 with longer shiftrod. The one thing that I cant figure out is the brake ao the right.
