so I bought a rim with a newer tire on it. The new rim and tire do not have anything on it except the brake drum, so I will have to take everything off my old rim such as bearings flange assembly sproket brakes...etc I was wondering while im doing this if I should replace my wheel bearings or is that something that if they are a sealed kit then I shouldnt have to replace? Im also putting new shoes in of course while im doing this. Is there anything else I should do while im in there?
    Thanks everyone in advance!

The original ones are far from sealed.

If there is any question as to their condition, by all means replace them; they're not expensive and the job isn't terribly difficult, it's covered here: http://xjbikes.com/Forums/viewtopic/t=35134.html
