I am going to paint my wheels when I redo the rest of the bike. My question is this, is there any surprises I should be aware of or anything I should be cautious about when removing the rear wheel? It is shaft driven. Any seals or anything to be super careful with? Also, what is the best paint to use on the wheels? Should I still go with a high temp. paint or doesn't it really matter?

Sometimes ... after a few years of sitting in there ... the Rear Axle is a stubborn removal.

Coat it with AntiSeize Lube when you get around to putting it back in.

Note the placement of washers and spacers. Don't lose track of where they belong!
