Rear wheel swap 84 virago to 82 XJ650

    I have been reading more about mixing bias and radial tires and you are right that bias should be in the front. The r6 front rim can take any tire make up. I would most likely go with Michelin Commander II and have bias all around. like you said this isn't a track bike, so i dont need radials. The tire sizes i settled on is 130-80r17 and 130-90r16 would give me the same width (5.12inches) for both and approx the same height.

    I still haven't bought the xj700 rim, I am waiting to see if i can find a cost effective drum to disc conversion. The cognitomoto setup comes out to what i paid for the bike. I can also buy a cb750 with spokes for that price.
