Ok, I tore my bike apart to get the gears out, had them fixed yesterday, so going to start reassembling today, kids permitting.
I have the lower case off, and noticed there was no gasket, but was wondering if there is anything i should put on it or just leave it the way it is?

Also, every thing is off the bike except the wiring pretty much, i'm trying to take off as much paint as possible, going to do the engine and frame all high heat gloss black. I was going to sandblast it all but I heard too many horror stories so bought some metal paint stripper and some brass wire wheels.

Needed, 1 Clutch spring bolt, ... .yeah i broke one, wondering if this has to be a specific bolt?

Any tips on reassembly or things i should look for or do, or painting or anything at this point would be appreciated ... if not i'll wing it ... lol

Be patient young jedi. You will get a hold of chacal. You will fix your bike properly. You will enjoy years and years of great riding because you did.

i've been in touch with chacal, and going to order some gaskets soon.

I bought some metal paint remover, tried it on gas tank, works pretty good, problem is, that is says not RECOMMENED for aluminum, was going to use it on the engine. The stuff is spray on and it causes the paint to blister off, wondering if i used it on the engine and got it off asap if it would be ok. Not sure what it is I got it from Canadian Tire.1
