I just got some estimates to take some 550 bores from 57 to 58.5 mm as I thought it would be cheaper than trying to find o/s pistions or even a new set of rings. Came in at 50 quid (65 USD) a pot which probably makes it uneconomic for what was a spare motor. Thoughts?

I could get a 600 block but chance are that will be worn too and the idea was to get nice an tight top end - err that sounds a bit saucy but you know what I mean..
