Rebuild Kit

    I just got a 85 xj700 and am trying to rebuild the carbs. Does anyone have any suggestions as to where to go to get a rebuild kit? Thank you in advance!

    You could try any of the "kits" available from e-bay or Amazon but you WILL BE DISSAPPOINTED. Or you can order all the RIGHT parts from Chacal and you WILL BE HAPPY.

    Yep. Get what you need from Chacal--especially for the carbs. I have the same bike and I got the brass needles and they work great. Get what you need and do it right the first time and you will be doing more riding and less wrenching.

    I agree. Although I have never talked to him, he has given me a lot of advice and suggestions via email. I'm not sure I would still have my XJ if it weren't for his help.
