restless in montana...some ideas please?

my name is stormy. ive owned about every kind of motorcycle from indian to well...everything, but im excited about my 1983 xj550. cherrrry...under 11,000 miles and tires that were so fresh changed there are the "tire wiskers" still on them. i paid $100.00...haha. every now and then you find someone real hungry. :lol: i love doing my own work, but sometimes those 4 carb settups are difficult. ill get it. im well over 6 feet and 200 pounds. i want to mod it out for me to fit well. id post up some photos of others that ive done but this for yamahas only. anybody have some unique ideas on how to make this mod something unique?

Do you want to keep it a soft tail? I think the 550 is a chain drive, opposed to most of these bikes which are shaft drive. That being said, you could hard tail it, stretch it, put some mini apes on it. I love that look.
