    So.... y'all were right, the mechanic I hired to solve my richness problem failed, I've attached a picture of my carb, is the screw in the botton of the carb the fuel/air screw, if not can you tell me where it is. I was told this was neither a Mikuni or Hitachi carb, but rather a knock off installed by Yamaha. Are the mixture screws on this carb supposed to be set to 3 turns from the bottom like I've seen in other posts?

    Also a lot of discussion in several threads. I would recommend reading as much of it as you can - I learned a lot doing so. Three turns is just a starting point.

    Search colortune and plug chop also do get your adjustments right.
