Rubber Carb Boots

    I need to replace my carb boot's my question is do they need to be off of a 82 XJ 550 or will the boots from other models work to?

    They can be off an XJ550 (Maxim) or XJ550R (Seca) from 1981~1983. (H/J/K.)

    I would ask "which boots?" but the answer applies to both airbox boots and intake manifolds.

    None of the boots from the bigger bikes will interchange.
