running no front brake

    when you guys chop your bikes do you guys run the front brakes or go without it?

    it depends on if you plan to ride the bike or is it just a show bike?

    Front brakes are 70%~90% of your stopping power; the harder you stop the more work the front does.

    If you plan to ride the bike, run front brakes.

    yeah defintaly alot of stopping power there, if decide to go that route are there any companies that make inexpensive brake reserviors?

    The only inexpensive ones would probably be made in China. Might be good, might not.

    when i bought my bike, the PO had shaved the reservoir, lever, and perch off of the controls. I rode it a couple of days with no front brakes and the stopping distance was staggering. Like bigfitz said, if you plan on riding the bike on a regular basis, keep the front brakes!

    How about if you plan on riding the bike, PERIOD.

    Anything else is simply irresponsible and suicidal.
