Running only on full choke

    I have a 1985 XJ700. The bike will only run when the choke is open all the way. I am assuming that this is caused by the pilot jets clogged or the carb itself needing cleaned. The problem is I have no idea how to dismantle and clean the carb. Any information on how to do this would be greatly appreciated. I have never dismantled a carb before and don't want to make things worse.
