Looked in my gas tank after the winter and the gas was muddy looking with big flakes(i think old sealer) floating in it. I attached a pic below. I emptied it out the best i could.
Just receiver my POR15 kit and as i did the initial wash out of the gas there was still pieces of the sealer coming out. And i can still hear pieces in there, sounds like sand, attached to the walls.
I know i have to resolve this before moving on too the degreaser step. What should i do to move on? or is this thing shot??

put a bunch of steel nuts and bolts in it and shake it till the cows come home.
    dump all that mess out
then get some MEK Methyl Ethel Ketone, put that in it with those nuts and bolts, shake that around for a month or two.
get that mess out and rinse it with water till it runs clean.
check it real close for leaks on the bottom seams.
now if there's no leaks and the water comes out clean, ask yourself if you really want to put sealer back in it. get a few in-line filters.
