Any of you folks that have tried 650 Savage shocks, speak up. Have found a set (10k mi) at really good price. Let me know what you thought about them. Thanks...

Hi skillet. I Googled savage shocks, and in the UK they are made for radio controlled vehicles!

    Sorry!

I read on another forum that theyare being used to lower the rear of the Honda Shadows and work well, but no knowledge about them on our XJs so far. I assume being the bikes are similar in weight, they should do the trick if they fit.

As in, taken off a Suzuki?

    GAAAAK

Probably just about as superb as the original KYB cr*pola that came on most of the XJs (except the 900s.)

Honestly; probably not all that great right off the showroom floor; if they have more than 6000 miles on them they're all done or nearly so.

Spend your money on some decent aftermarket shocks.
