Thanks to everyone here for all their helpful advice and direction. In about 15 hours I will no longer be the proud owner of an XJ. It's new owner will be taking her home. I don't have nor will I be getting another bike until my kids grow up and leave home so no need to hang around unless you count a motorized bicycle as reason? lol Seriously though it's a great site one I will be directing the new owner to. Thanks again and please ride safe.

I made the same decision years ago. You sometimes have to wait to do the things you love when you have a family to support. Enjoy these times as they go by quickly. Our baby is 25 and her older brother is 27. And I currently own 4 motorcycles!

See ya in a few years when you will be able to ride with clear conscience!
