This afternoon I scored a 1980(?I think?) XJ750 Seca parts bike for free!! Accually I gave the guy $20 for his added troubles of hauling it to my garage. Only bad thing about it..... it was laid down hard! At least it wasn't on the black top, things don't have much road rash.

Parts I will be able to score off this bike for mine include..... oil cooler, factory chain lock, (figured I use ignition, gas cap, chain lock and helmet lock so they were all keyed the same) engine guards, exhaust heat shield by collecter, one turn signal, head lamp bucket, choke cable, and handle bar Yamaha emblem for center pad.

Not to mention I'll still have all the other parts..... that aren't smashed. Damaged items include: tank banged up, signals and instrument cluster hashed, bars bent, side covers missing.

But most all electrical components are still thier, along with engine carbs, front brakes intact, both wheels and rubber are still good too!

I was hopeing to make a bobber out ot this bike but think it mite be sprung (frame or forks)!

I haven't looked to see how many miles were on it yet, but I'll check tomorrow.

I'm stoked in the find/stroke of luck!

You can't beat free! I used to work with a woman whose motto was, "If it's free, it's for me." Sounded good to me. :D
