Seafoam Question

    OK, What is the proper mixture/procedure (or best) for cleaning out the carbs with Seafoam on my 1982 xj750????

    I have read sooo many threads here about it all somewhat diff.

    I read (on the back of the can, funny how that works) you need 1 can for 8 to 14 gallons of fuel. Given we carry about 4 gallons on average, I settled for 1/2 can to a full tank of premium and ran it dry. Adjust accordingly for your capacity and you should be just fine. I don't think you'll hurt anything if you are a little generous with the juice.

    I put about 1/2 can for 1/2 tank, ran it for 10 mins now I'm letting it
    set overnight with with fuel on. Tommorow I'm gonna top it off with
    premium and run the piss out of it.

    I hope it does the trick.

    Ok, I may be a little new here, but what is this Seafoam you speak of. I dont think I have heard of it. Other in the ocian of corse.
