I can't find the thread about sealing the insides of gas tanks. I pretty much want to know what everyone uses and recommends. I have a tank with minimal internal corrosion, but I think its just enough to give my bike headaches.

What brand and where do I get it?

I look down in my tank and see the rust but I believe its on the light sight. How do i order a fuel filter or do i just buy an automotive/lawn and garden one? I really don't want to take my tank off and seal it but I cant tell if I have a carb problem or bad fuel. If I do go ahead and coat the inside---POR 15 is the best?

go on the forums page then XJ4Ever - Supporting Vendor click on the author "chacal" send him a e-mail or a pm, he has filters that fit perfect
theres several ways to clean out a tank, electrolysis, acid, nuts and bolts
all kinds of ways try the search they say por15 is good but i'd only use it as a last resort
theres a filter in the tank on the fuel valve too but a extra one and a good cleaning will usually do it for ya

I ended up using Redkote. Its actually blue now but worked great. I was a little nervous with the muriatic acid part, but everything turned out great. I now have it back together and fuel in it.

Thanks everyone for the help and advice.
