    If you are good with a sewing machine its not a problem to get a nice cover, there are several on this site who have done it. You can get thet custom look if that is what you are going for.
    You can get ready to install covers on the net for less than 100$. They look just like the OEM seat but made better. I have them on both my XS and XJ and love them. A sewing machine is like a third arm for me so I go this route.

    I was going to go "DIY" until I discovered Sargent's. I've now had two seats done by them; great work and quite reasonably priced.
