Seat lock missing

    I just bought a 1980 maxim 650 that hasn't been used since 2004, took off the seat and noticed the seat lock was missing, I have looked at pictures of what the lock looks like and can't see any holes where the 2 mounting screws thread in. Any help is appreciated.

    Does the bike still have the original grab handle? That’s where it mounts.
