seca rims and tires on a maxim

    i have a parts bike thats a seca with new spitfire rubber and just wondering if it will work on my maxim. i know that it's a skinnyer tire and bigger tire size, but just wondering if it will fit or do i have to do some modifing to the maxim :?:

    need a little more info on your bikes, scarecrow. Put your bike models in your signature, and post some pics.. We love pics :-D

    you should be able to swap the rear wheels, as long as both are the same drive type (e.g. shaft or chain).

    ^^If not, could the Maxim become the donor bike? Just a thot...

    Of course, someone here might have some maxim wheels they might want to swap for some Seca parts. Worth asking, maybe?

    my bikes a 82 650 maxim my parts bike is a 82 650 seca i just found out that the front on the seca is a duel disk brake so i will have to change the whole front end on the maxim to fit the duel disk

    I think it'll fit just fine! And you get a taller gear ratio as a bonus!
    Spring for the tapered fork bearings while you got it apart. (Chacal)
    You also have a bunch of parts to sell here!
