Yep, the title refers to a seca 600.

My younger brother owns the seca (he is a member on here, "ammoeller", just doesn't get on the site as active as me) and he had exhaust stud issues. two (2) of 'em snapped in the engine head so it came off and went to Napa machine shop for professional repair. My brother and I spent turkey day putting it back together (engine head, timing chain, tensioner, etc.) and I helped him do his first valve shim clearance measurements as well. Needless to say, as I'm not surprised, 6 outta the 8 were tight.

So he's looking to ask if anyone has shims for the newer model XJ's. I have a small stash of extras but the 29mm (for my 81's) shims are too large in diameter for his 1993 seca 600. He is willing to trade and pay for an extra envelope stamp to anyone willing to trade. I realize the crowd for newer model bikes is smaller, but can anyone help us out? Thanks in advance

performed a search online and found out they are 25mm in diameter vs. 29mm in diameter like the kind my bikes take:

Might help if you post the sizes you need, just an idea.

    Good luck!

Might try pm'ing Dave (hoggfiddles) he runs a 29mm shim pool, and might know of others with 25mm shims that he could connect you with.

    Worth a shot imo

Sounds like they're the same size as FJ shims.
I've got a lot of spares but i'm in the UK.
You could try contacting a guy called Randy at RPM Racing. He's California based i think, but his shop deals in FJ's and he also races the Legend cars which use the FJ engines.
