    The plastic 'pin' on my 81 650Max side cover is missing, apparently broken off by PO (though I'm not sure how that would happen). Any tips on securing that corner of the side cover? Sure don't want it to vibrate/blow off and get lost.

    Guess I could fabricate a replacement pin but without going through the cover I don't see how that would be strong enough not to break again, but what do I know, maybe it would? Or perhaps glue small velcro pads on the mating surfaces?

    I'm hoping one of you experts will have a suggestion.
