    Hey I'm still working on my '83 midnight maxim 750. And how would I fix the side stand switch. It works sometimes. I need it to work all the time for the safety check. Can't seam to find new switches anywhere

    It's most likely just gunked up with crap. Pull the rubber boot off and clean it out with contact cleaner.
