Silicone does NOT make a good throttle shaft seal

    I've never seen this before, but the PO>PO decided to make his own throttle shaft seals with some RTV silicone! Yep...I have no idea how he expected to be able to turn them if it set up, but that's the only explanation I can see to the goop squeezed out of the shafts and everything all gummed together and leaking gas.

    PLEASE do not try this! Buy the proper seals from Chacal or at least get some metric orings.
