So, I'm heading into grad school, and I won't be able to spend as much time on this forum as I did during the summer cuz I'll be book bound. I learned pleanty and am very greatful for all the healp and info.

But here's one thing that I learned lately:

I was running a little lean. Narrowed it down to air leaks around the boots. Boots are old, but none of the cracks went all the way through the rubber. RPMs didn't budge when I sprayed carb cleaner on the boots. What the heck? I pulled off the boots...they came off rather easily. I think the seal between the head and the boots was bad. When I pulled the bootsholders the gaskets were shot. So, for all those with air leak problems, check that seal, and make sure air isn't coming in there.

    Xj bikes rocks.

Best wishes in your studies, make the grade and make big bucks to buy goodies for the XJ. Keep us posted when you can spare a moment.

Listen to your profs and pay attention is class. I think that is half of school work anyway. Most profs test on their own ideas instead of the book. I hope the XJ is going with you, may make a good chick magnet!
