    Sport or street?

I know these bikes have inline 4's which you really only see on sport bikes anymore.
The seca was one of the first actual crotch rocket design, or maybe it was the seca 2?

I guess the maxims are more of a standard design with the secas considered sport bikes?

Maxims were called 'Power Cruisers' by Yamaha in their advertising materials. I'd agree with that statement. Maxims are more cruiser than sport bike. Especially with the stock handlebars.

WHEN IT CAME OUT, the Seca was considered a "sportbike." TWO yes two short years later it was considered "middle of the road." The 550 Seca lost its fairing and became a "standard" and the 750 Seca fell toward "sport touring."

Does that make my Vetterized 82 750 Maxim a Power Tourer (compared to similar era)? :)

    If they would make a:

900, 20 Valve, MaxX, Liquid cooled, Fuel Injected, DOHC, Shaft Drive, Turbo-charged, 6 Speed, Shaft Drive, Slipper-clutched, Low-riding, Sport-cruiser with Standard Quick-release Windshield and Luggage Cases, ...

I ... would ... camp-out at the Dealership with my Trades and Co-signer.
