Just spent over an hour trying to find the thread that is a step-by-step walk through of how to sync carbs.... I could have sworn there was one. I found the threads on cleaning and bench syncing...but I thought there was one of how to sync them on the bike too...
Does anyone have it bookmarked?!? thankx

I'm not aware of one, per se. It's pretty simple:

You have your freshly cleaned, float level perfect and bench-sync'ed carbs back on the bike...

SO-- block the YICS off. Turn up idle slightly so bike is idling at 1000~1100rpm.

Warm up engine; attach manometer of your choice and sync as follows:

#3 is "home base" and only adjusted by the main idle knob; so--

Adjust #1 to #2. The linkage is such that when you get to #2, it brings #1 along with it; so adjust #1 so it matches #2.

Then adjust #2 (which will bring #1 with it) to match #3. Now 1, 2 and 3 are in sync. Then adjust #4 to match #3. Voila! Sync'ed.

Then start mucking about with mixtures; re-check the vac sync afterward because any major mixture adjusting will throw it off a tad.
