Just opened the box of spark plug that I bought at NAPA and just realized that the terminals are different. I did tell them that is was for an 82 SECA. My old ones are thinner and has ridges. the new ones have more modern terminal. Can I exchange them or do I need to change my wires?

the terminal on the new plugs is just a nut that you need to unscrew to expose the threaded terminal that your wires were designed to use.

rather than market 2 different part numbers, all plugs come with the round terminal and you take it off if you dont need it.

Some plugs come with a screw on cap at the terminal. double check to see if this is the case with your plugs
