speedo/turn signal auto cancel question

    so if i understand this right. the auto cancel on the turn sigs is actuated by the speedo based on whether you travel a certain distance or speed.

    (or something kind of like that)

    well can i safely assume that since my speedo cable is stuck, thats the reason my turn signals dont stop flashing automatically??
