Hello, I have an 1985 xj700x and the speedometer is pretty much toast. I was just wondering if there is a way to get into the gears of it to clean them out and what not. It seems to me like it is completely seal probably to help prevent from tampering.

well the screws in the front part fell off while i was riding so now that gauge is upside down and doesn't work and also before that happened there was a lot of noise and vibration coming from the gears or something.
