Starter button ground, the handlebars? (new questions)

    Yes, does the start button circuit go through the handlebar?

    The ground that is, Cause the cutoff switch and the light switch all work as they should, but the button does nothing.

    Yep. If you install black-painted or powder-coated bars, then you'll need to "make a clean spot" for it.

    Okey, got the ground sorted, also found a broken wire to the starter relay,
    re-soldered it and but it back in, great, now I hear a faint clicking sound but the starter does not engage.

    I jumped the leads to see if the starter still worked, and it did.
    So I'm guessing the relay is broken?

    BUT!

    Secondly, my neutral light have become inversed, so When in neutral the light shuts off and when in gear it lights up, any thoughts on that issue?
    (it turns off when I pull the clutch lever)
