    This is my hi tech solution. I went to one of those "big box" stores, and bout a cheap, large face waterproof digital watch.

    Using the watch band, I mounted it on my handlebars, tucked next to the front brake master cylinder, and angled so that I can see the time while riding. Works in all weather, and if you find one with the light button on the face, you can even get the time at night.

    Best thing, is if someone takes it, no big deal, it was a cheap watch.
