    Exactly! I wonder if theres going to be any charges brought up for the guys who tried to get rid of the bike to japan... sneaky man.

    Rounding up and selling vintage bikes, especially old British bikes, into Japan is a highly profitable business.

    I seriously doubt that the guys who were selling it into Japan had anything at all to do with the original theft. As clean as it is, I would hazard a guess that it ended up stashed in a corner somewhere until somebody else discovered it.

    Even more interesting than the recovery would be the story of what actually happened to it since the original theft in '67.

    Wow though that must've made the owner's decade when he took that call! Just hope he's still in good shape & able to ride his bike again now it's back. 8)
