I was out on my trike, been going for about 10 minutes when the engine didn't sound right, and it felt as though it was "being held back" a bit like running out of fuel. I was still sat at 60 mph but seemed to be missing. I came to my turning and put my indicator on, now for the strange thing! The engine ran correctly eerytime the indicator was lit, then rough when it wasn't????? . I have checked the main earth (ground) connection, the coils are fine and have cleaned off the earthing points on them. The plugs I have in have only been in for about 4 months and done around 500 miles.

I'm really stumped with this one.....the only thing I can think of is possibly a duff battery.......I am quite a novice with electrics.

    Any help gratefully received.

Sounds like your system has a bad ground (earth). I would check out all of your ground connections as it sounds like the system is finding a parasitic ground return through the signal. Just a gut feeling. Best of luck finding your issue.
