Ok well i got more bikes, but one may not stay a parts bike. I started pulling parts off, to see how the frame is and how the different parts are, and its in great shape. So i am thinking of making the bike look good and shining her up. so i pulled everything i could off the bike.

I need someone to tell me what i am missing to pull the forks off. It should be easy.

And how do you remove the rear tire and swing arm?

well after learning my lesson from pulling the forks off, i am NOT going to pull the shaft/bearing things out next time... there are alot of ball bearings to lose. but luckly i only lost one and i just happen to live near a bearing manufacuer.

MY beautiful paint job was good for a while. untill i was trying to place the motor in place by my self with a ratchet strap as an engine hoist. but most of the bike is still in good shape.

Leave the swingarm alone unless you plan on replacing the bushings. They're nylon and will probably be destroyed in the removal process.

get a manual if you don't have one! it will make your life easier.

Oh. On teardown. bag + tag EVERYTHING. nothing like doing some major reassembly + having parts left over that you have no idea what the f**k they are....

ok well i got the bike put most of the way back together... working on breaks now (want to have those working well before the motor is running) how in the world do i get the rear break peddle shaft back in? the swing arm is in the way. im going to dry dropping the suspention and moving the swing arm and hope that works. but mostly everything is back where it should be except the air box and carbs. i never had an air box, so i am going to have to fab one up or go with pods.
