Ok so I am brand new to the while bike thing, and have a few questions. I don't yet have my motorcycle endorsement but recently got my maxim from a coworker who was moving away and didn't want to take it with him. He got it as a project but never touched it. It doesn't run yet but after replacing the fusebox it turns over. I have the Carbs torn apart as we speak in hopes that it will run after a good cleaning and rebuild. Anyway I'm a student so I'm working on it little by little as I get the time and money. After I get everything working properly and have done all the necessary things I have read about on here (carbs, brakes, valve clearances, tires, etc.) I hope to turn it into a bobber. So I heard when you take the test or whatever that there is a vehicle inspection and my question is is it ok to have it inspected with aftermarket equipment like smaller led turnsignals and brake light?
    Thanks

It is here in Arkansas but states have different requirements. Call your DMV or whoever issues licenses and ask them.

Congrats on your new bike and on doing it the 'right way!' You're going to have a sweet ride when you get it all cleaned up.
