i am switching out my turn signals. the front left will come on and stay on with no blinking while the back one won't come on at all.

    what might be causing this?

as i attempt to switch out the lights (three total), is it as easy as connecting the two wires? what should i know to do it right?

    thanks for the help, anyone.

If you are getting rid of the factory signals and their 27 watt bulbs, and going to Chinese turn signals and 23 watt bulbs, then you need to buy a cheap automotive flasher to make them work.

If you are replacing with Yamaha parts (3 total??) then just connect the wires, and troubleshoot the one that didn't work. Buy a multi-meter.

I had a similar issue - a bad ground on one of the lights.

I think you can get a new socket to replace the garbage one if the casing is good
