sync or colortune first?

    Hi!
    I was wondering, cause i'm a newby in the art of mechanics, if i need to sync first the colortune or the other way around?

    Best to sync first. There are several threads on carb cleaning and adjustment. Rather than repeat what is already on the site I suggest using the search feature. You should find all the info you require.

    rinse, lather repeat. You'll need to do each more than once to get it perfectly dialed in.

    IN ORDER:

    VALVE ADJUSTMENT (check, adj if necessary.) With out-of-spec valves you won't get a decent vac sync.

    Float levels verified with gas, using clear tube method.

    Bench Sync.

    Vacuum sync.

    Colortune; repeat vac sync, repeat colortune.

    Ride bike, check plugs occasionally.
