Will a Xj750 maxim tank fit on a XJ750 seca, if so will the seat and rear end fit too?

No - Maxim and Seca tanks are different sizes and shapes, and particularly the Maxim tank won't work with the Seca's bodywork panels and/or seat.

Having said that - anything is possible with enough work and/or modification.

I just swapped my '82 750 Seca tank for one from a 650 Maxim with NO modifications. It slipped right on and the petcock is even in the correct location.
